About Cole

After his undergraduate psychology degree, Cole followed with MSc Occupational Psychology at Birkbeck College, University of London.

For some years, he was a Chartered Occupational Psychologist, with specialisms in assessment, psychometrics, human-computer interaction, training and careers guidance.

After several small research projects for health, business and educational users, he took up research on a regular basis, working for different organisations in London.

He is also the author of books introducing statistical testing, training careers guidance practitioners and children's historical fiction. He speaks some Russian but doesn't know if he'll ever become fluent.

Other achievements include MSc in Computer Science. He programs in PHP for choice, but has also used Java servlets - which he used to create the CareerSteer career choice diagnostic tool - Visual Basic, basic HTML and web content. Some of his work has included evaluation of web sites and computer tools as well as consulting on internet marketing.
