About ColeAfter his undergraduate psychology degree, Cole followed with MSc Occupational Psychology at Birkbeck College, University of London. For some years, he was a Chartered Occupational Psychologist, with specialisms in assessment, psychometrics, human-computer interaction, training and careers guidance. After several small research projects for health, business and educational users, he took up research on a regular basis, working for different organisations in London. He is also the author of books introducing statistical testing, training careers guidance practitioners and children's historical fiction. Cole has been spending a good deal of time teaching in Belarus and in the middle of Siberia; he speaks some Russian but doesn't know if he will ever become fluent. Cole also has an MSc in Computer Science. He programs in PHP for choice - used in the current version of his CareerSteer career choice diagnostic tool - but has also used Java servlets, Visual Basic, Eiffel and basic HTML as well as writing web content. Some of his work has involved the evaluation of web sites and computer tools as well as consulting on internet marketing. Recent clients
